Qualified Supervisor

The state of Florida requires that all mental health professional registered interns, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Marriage & Family Therapists and Psychologists must have several years of post-licensed practice and complete a 12-hour course on supervision in order to be determined a ā€œQualified Supervisorā€.

I completed this course in 2007 and offer weekly or bi-weekly supervision for those who need it towards their LCSW. My supervision style covers clinical as well as supportive. Discuss issues regarding transference, burnout, boundaries, NASW ethics, and working with micro and macro systems. If interested, supervision also addresses beginning a private practice, understanding the challenges and benefits of being a small business owner and reviewing the principles to “Become a Wealthy Therapist” as taught by Casey Truffoe.

Please contact me if interested at 813.892.6203 in arranging a dyadic interview. It is very important to me that you feel comfortable with me and my style prior to signing a contract for supervision towards licensure as this is a financial and professional investment.
Cost: $60 per hour

Our 12 hour qualified supervisor course prepares you to be an effective supervisor for registered clinical social work interns. This is an interactive and dynamic course assisting LCSW’s gain insight and tools to effectively supervise clinicians in the Social Work profession towards licensure. Handouts an supervision forms will also be included
