Brittany Trenker, MS is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern for the State of Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania and received her Master’s in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. Ms. Trenker has experience working with adolescents, adults and individuals with developmental disabilities, veterans and members of the military and their families, with a specialty in substance abuse and trauma, including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Ms. Trenker primarily uses a Strengths-Based perspective, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). Some of Ms. Trenker’s favorite pastimes involve reading, music, traveling, kayaking and spending time at the beach.
