  • All the therapists at STEP love being social workers and our passion for the profession shows through our work and ability to connect with our clients.
    • Lamon P. Caldwell II
      LCSW

      My name is Lamon P. Caldwell II, I am a licensed social worker who holds a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and Master of Divinity from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. I specialize in strength-based and integrative therapy approaches that encourage individuals to utilize the strengths they already possess to assist them in their wellness journey.

      Laurence graduated from the University of South Florida with his Master’s In Social Work in August of 2016, a Graduate Certificate in Children’s Mental Health in December 2015, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology the December of 2009. 

    • Marcus Williams
      LMHC

      I enjoy working with couples and families. I believe each individual in a family offers a unique perspective and has a voice. I work with preteens through adulthood.

      I believe throughout everyone’s life we all experience stressors and may not understand how to manage them.

    • Catherine Cadotte

      Catherine graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master’s degree in Social Work. She believes, in this ever-changing world, people struggle to feel heard. “I am here as a support to get you to where you want to be and how you want to feel.”

    • Jessica Rodriguez
      (MHC)

      Jessica graduated from Capella University (Minnesota) with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2022). She also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2015 from University of Phoenix, Arizona. Her passion in life is to provide proper mental health care to those that are seeking a safe, nonjudgmental, and caring environment.

      My name is Daja Belt, a Registered Clinical Social Work InternTherapist at Supportive Therapy Empowering People (STEP), currently working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults. I specialize and am passionate with interests in working with clients who may experience obstacles in academics, depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief.

      Hi, I’m Mia. I’m here to be someone you can talk to about the stuff on your mind, whether it’s big feelings, tough days, or things you don’t always want to say out loud. I love helping kids and teens find their strengths, figure out what makes them feel calm, and remind them they’re not alone.

      Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW)

      Hi. I’m Emily! I am a registered clinical social worker (RCSWI). I enjoy helping people find their joy, confidence, and self-love. Blending therapy and creativity, my goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can grow, flourish, and be your authentic self. I see preteens through adults in individual, couples, and family sessions.

      Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSWI)

      Sydni conferred her Bachelor’s of Psychology B.A. with a minor in applied statistics at the University of South Florida (USF) in 2022. She continued schooling to confer her Masters of Social Work degree with a certificate in therapeutic modalities and children’s mental health at USF in 2025.

    • Shannon McAlister
      Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSWI)

      Shannon McAlister is a Certified Child Welfare Case Manager and Permanency Specialist with Children’s Network of Hillsborough, where she supports children and families through trauma-informed practice. She holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Savannah State University.

      My name is Reggie Vilmenay, and I am the founder of Supportive Therapy Empowering People, LLC (STEP), a company dedicated to helping families communicate more effectively since its inception in 2010. Over the years, STEP has impacted over 5,000 families, providing valuable tools for fostering healthy communication and building stronger relationships.
