My body is still recovering from that run on Saturday. My thighs havent been used like that in a while, but it was for a great cause. Speaking of a great cause…. We are now past 10% of the way towards our goal to $5,000. We are on pace to reach this goal and be able to provide over 1oo children with toys and other gifts. Some of the staff are looking forward to going to WalMart and Toys R Us to do the shopping. We are going to need volunteers to help gift wrap as well.
I am very thankful to be in a position where I can help others. I am humbled as well by the support I get from those who believe in Supportive Therapy Empowering People’s mission and vision. Its funny where life takes you sometimes. I just see myself as a kid from Brooklyn, New York who wanted to make a difference and luckily have been surrounded by people who push me forward to do more.
