Today a check came through in the mail for a $100. That brings our remaining balance presently to $4,545. In approximately 5 days we received nearly 10% of our requested amount!
I met someone who believes in our cause and has shared the information with “The Collective”. This is an umbrella organization working with 11 other organizations such as The National Black MBA association, 100 Black Men of Tampa Bay, Phi Beta Sigma, The Crescent Foundation, to name a few. Hopefully, this will allow generous contributions to flow through but just as importantly to help others see the services Supportive Therapy Empowering People has to offer the community.
