Today I ran for a great cause. I joined thousands on a Breast Cancer 5k Walk/Run. It was great seeing so many people together, all races, ages supporting and donating to help rid the world of this ugly disease. I joined “Team Big” to support a friend who’s Aunt is a cancer survivor. I also know other survivors such as my cousin, Gardy Ellis. Unfortunately, we also know who passed away due to cancer. My best friend of over 30 years recently lost his father. I enjoyed doing the little I could to hopefully make a difference. By the way, I completed the 3.1 mile course in 33 minutes and 11 seconds!
